Life's too much of an arse for you to just sit down and take it. Planning college, working for some weirdo that secretly closes his office door and and reads TeenScene magazine and gets a mani-pedi, getlting married, not just to the man you love but to his entire family, popping out kids. You need to live mate! Bigtime! The clock's ticking! Take some time off, travel the world, headbang a little, act like a first class psycho! It's important. More than you think.
The moment you start living in the moment and not harping on what was or what shall be, you're actually living. As one of my previous posts mentioned an Oscar Wilde quote, till then, you just exist. Who cares if someone thinks you'r fat or lame or a show off. You shouldn't give a flying fart. My ultimate point being, it's your life and you can do whatever you want with it. You set the rules, no one else does. You know what's good for you and what's not. Don't take what 'the others' say to heart because if you do let me tell you, you're royally screwed.
I've been working on my Bucket List for almost two and a half years now. Yes because that's how much I dream. I dream big. And a lot. Dreaming is my reality. And it serves me well. Because most of the time if I want something bad enough, it happens. You just need to believe it. It's like, you want to go for that bigass concert that's happening soon, you don't have any cash on you. EARN IT. Pick up your neighbour's pooch's poo, help an old lady make a pie. Just get the money yourself.
That's one principle I've taken to. Whatever I want to do in my life has to be with my own money. Ambitious as that may sound, it isn't impossible. My parents have given me more than I could ask for. After a point, independence starts meaning something more than just being able to live by yourself.
I know I'm random. But those of you kind souls who read my blog should be used to it by now.
Bottomline: Laugh. Make a bucketlist. Earn your own money. Life's good. But most importantly, get one of these.
Makes you look smarter.
I like the stache on me. Very becoming.
Stay tuned for My Bucketlist. It's never been revealed to anyone before. ;)
