I like One Direction. I think they're absolutely brilliant and talented. One of the better boy bands out there. I heard their latest album due to the persistence of my sister who is a big fan. They're original, outgoing, have no inhibitions whatsoever and their music is fresh. You feel all up and about like you just hopped seven miles on a pogo stick. And no that isn't my sarcasm talking. I mentioned this to a couple of people and the reactions I got were, " How can YOU like One Direction? That's just wrong". Why? Jeez. Sounds criminal almost.
I mentioned previously that I do not appreciate stereotypes. And close-mindedness. I have but one rule when it comes to music, and it's simple: If I like what I hear, it goes into my music collection. I am biased to metal of course. I grew up on it. And classic rock. But if something else comes my way, or my ear's way as the case may be, I'm happy to give it a listen.
As I was with this. It's a really, really nice song. Very happy, simple and fun lyrics. The video is genuine and the boys are just themselves! I've listened to it atleast five times today much to the delight of Seethakka (my sister).
