So I'm about to introduce you lot to another part of my blog. This is something I've been doing for a few years now and it really has helped me to grow as a person and to understand the music I listen to much better than as just a 'song'. I do something called song interpretations. It's self-explanatory really. I take a song which I really really like, and I read the lyrics over and over again till I come to understand something from them. I have this obsessive habit of reading the lyrics of pretty much every other song that leaves me all Genie jaw dropped. With most metal music, the lyrics can be a bit overwhelming at times. Sometimes it is straightforward, sometimes it isn't. IT really depends on how connected you are to the music you're listening to. But eventually, I found myself learning things from the music I listened to, messages, life values, things I couldn't really pick up from life in general. And I thought there was no better way to share it than on my blog. It's not something I've done before because it's an understanding or my perception of what I hear. But I've learnt SO much and it's nice to share. So good ol' golden hearted me. *pat pat*

Also, I've been writing songs for a long time. Again, something I do just for the love of it. There's no reason behind it really. So here's one of the first songs I ever wrote. =)

This world, around us, above and below
Ceaseless in wonder , enriched with life
Creation reigns supreme and engulfs the faith.
Of those who want to believe.
For granted it is taken, every minute and every breath
Where is the peace that we seek.
So close yet so distant.
Our actions define the consequence.
Explosions of light, behold the truth
Greed can never be satisfied.
The human race is in search of more
But the Earth cries out for freedom
As the Universe is consumed by doubt
Hope will light up the ultimate truth
And forever the belief will grow
The suffering will die.
