Really. I have absolutely no idea why, BUT WHAT IS UP WITH ALL THE FRIGGIN COINCIDENCES! IT'S INSANE. So, the night before last, I posted about listening to Ne Obliviscaris yeah? I hadn't listened to them in a couple of weeks and I missed that peace I feel when I do listen to them. I switch them on with the intention of drifting off into ga-ga land, and I do my usual night check for updates and news and do you know what I see?
NE OBLIVISCARIS ANNOUNCE HEADLINE SHOWS
Melbourne and Sydney will get a symphonic delight in July when progressive black metal band Ne Obliviscarisplay two exclusive headline shows.
Taking a break from writing the follow up to their long awaited first full length, Portal of I, these will be their only headline shows for 2013. The band plan on showcasing some of the songs they have been working on.
It’s been a rewarding few months for the Melbourne lads, with Portal of I making it on many end of year best albums lists both here and abroad which was then followed by them signing with French label Season of Mist.
Joining them for both performances will be Melbourne’s A Million Dead Birds Laughing, with Sydney also having Rise of Avernus and Myraeth. In Melbourne they will be supported by Toehider and Hadal Maw.
Melbourne will get the first show at The Espy on July 6th
Tickets are $15 on the door
The Sydney show will be at The Bald Faced Stag on July 20th
Tickets are $12 + bf (from the venue) or $15 on the door.
Both shows will have doors open at 8pm.
