Intro.

As you know, I have five beautiful canines at home. And I thought it was about time I introduce them to the online world and show them off a little. I've always had a connection with animals, ever since I was a little ankle-biter.  I'd pick up snails with my friend Josie and we'd scare the living shenanigans out of the other kids, I loved going to the zoo, squishing Koalas, attempting to feed the Giraffes gum, pet any dog in sight, horse ride. If an animal was in the scene, so was I. Not to mention, when I got to India, I was beyond fascinated with the primate population here. There would be monkeys on the roads, chilling, flicking peoples food. Brilliant! And then came Sydni, the most gorgeous, angelic dog I've ever seen till date. She was my first pet. And even today, I still miss having her around me, fighting with me for my bar of chocolate and just looking into those beautiful brown eyes and thinking, " I'm the luckiest dog owner EVER." It's been quite the journey since Sydni, and yes, I named her after where I was born. I don't need to explain that one heh.

I've had so many little buggers coming into my life and some leaving. And if anything, it's because of my dogs that I am what I am today. My tolerance levels, the love I have to give, my sheer devotion to the animal kingdom, it's all because of them. Here, I also have to say, I am way beyond blessed to have Mommai, Dad, and my Sister, who have done nothing but be supportive of all the four legged and winged creatures I've brought home on a consistent basis. Now all four of us go googly eyed if we see anything that isn't human. So thanks a bunch you guys, I'm so proud of all of you and of what we've done. =)

On that lovable note, I also add to my blog a page on my love for wildlife, animals and just nature in general. There is so much to learn from them and I strongly believe that they are much more aware of things than we are even though, apparently we have a 'sixth sense'.  I've had some pretty mad experiences when it comes to animals and I'm looking forward to a whole lot more because honestly, it's one of the most thrilling aspects of my life. And one that I want to share with the world.

My dogs get first priority. And this whole page, I dedicate to Sydni because she was my best friend. Someone who understood me better than anyone I know and I will never, ever forget her. =) I love you angelface.

She's beautiful isn't she? =)

Anyway, moving along, I have a very cheeky bunch of darlings. They steal the neighbours milk and butter, flick coconuts from the store room, pounce on other unsuspecting dogs, and just create havoc in general. They truly are my pets =P  ( more on me stealing, later)

My boys, Bagheera and Sanka, well. They're my boys. Baggy has a stunning, black coat which is why I decided to name him after Bagheera from Jungle Book. He's got these eyes that can either say " I absolutely love you" or " Move out of the way pipsqueak". Dad and me found him on the side of the road and I just couldn't stand there and watch him aimlessly roam around looking for food. Picked him up and his been my buddy ever since. He's about a year and a half now. And he talks alot, like me ^_^  Him and Spock ( his girlfriend) quite enjoy bullying the poor passers-by and other dogs in their 'hood'.

Sanka, my little angel boy, he's become quite the gentleman now. Thanks to his wife Karma. Initially he'd poo every chance he got on anything he got a chance to poo on. He never gets tired of eating, again, truly a representation of me. Personally I think him and Baggy should start playing baseball because they can catch! I'll upload videos soon, but blimey it really is an art how they catch the cookies I throw them, at any given height.

They're a lot bigger now. And a lot less wussy-looking. Those pictures are on my camera. I shall upload them soon. But here's a video of them when they were puppies. Attempting to bite each other.

My girls will get an intro in the next post so lookout!

Cheers!
