If ^^ THAT isn't the one of the awesomest album covers ever then I don't know what is. My obsession for everything ancient and Nordic is increasing by the day and Amon Amarth just make it better and better. NEW ALBUM OUT SOON.
The masters of melodic death metal Amon Amarth have a trick up their sleeve this Friday. You don't have to wait any longer for the new cover because the band has just unveiled the cover art of their upcoming album which will be called Deceiver Of The Gods. You can feast your eyes on the very Amon Amarthish cover here.
According to the band, the cover depicts the last battle between the Gods and Loki who arrives at Vigridr field accompanied by the army of the dead during Ragnarok, the end of the world. Epic?
The new effort follows 2011's Surtur Rising and will come out under Metal Blade Records.
Now a treat for the ears. Title track. Typically Amon Amarth, slightly predictable but who cares. PWNAGE.
As for the new DT album Construct, For Broken Words is the first track chosen to be released as an album preview by Stanne and co. Quite frankly, it's not exactly what I expected. But I do sort of like where it's this album is headed. It's got a nice, eerie and dark feeling to it not the usual catchy and fast paced DT tunes. Stanne's raspy vocals are back in action. I guess this track is just going to show how versatile DT are and how unique Construct is going to sound!
CANNOT WAITINGS!!!!!!
